But when I absolutely need a new one, Aerie is my go-to because they always have a great selection.
Yes, this brand has a reputation for largely catering to a younger customer. However, their swim program is surprisingly well-balanced and (dare I say) tasteful. You can find plenty of classic, stylish options amidst the flashier, more cutesy pieces.
There's a lot to love about Aerie's swimwear. Gorgeous color palettes and prints, cute styles, and (speaking as someone who works in the garment biz) impressive quality and construction. That's part of why their bathing suits are usually so flattering, too -- unlike what you'd find in other fast fashion stores, these bathing suits are not cheaply put together.
And all their bikinis are mix-and-matchable.
I skimmed through their latest offerings and put together a fantasy shopping list (if Summer 2020 wasn't cancelled). Each photo is linked back to its source. As always, much to my regret lol, this is NOT a sponsored post. Honestly, I'm just a fan.

First up: How pretty are these one-pieces!
Love the simplicity of this shape and I'm obsessed with the print! (Full disclosure: It's probably the one I would buy for myself this summer.)
Don't remember the last time I wore a tankini (lmao) but I'd be willing to give it another shot with either of these fun ones:
Really feeling the lattice details on an otherwise basic bathing suit:
And speaking of basic... At the end of the day, I'll almost always take a simple solid swimsuit. :)
Do you have a favorite spot to buy swimwear? How many bathing suits do you take on vacation? :)

These are all adorable! I take about 5 or 6 then end up wearing the same two or three on repeat 🙄
