Creature Comfort: The Most Canadian Candle

Who else has fallen asleep with candles lit, only to wake up in a complete panic, thank the universe your house didn't burn down, then swear never to do it again?

No, no, me neither.

Moving on...

I love this candle! It smells delightful, warm and sweet like actual maple syrup, and it lasts forever. The version with a wooden wick (my favorite because it crackles like fire) is about 25-30 dollars, so the candle isn't exactly free. I'm a cost-per-use person, though, and can stretch these over a month or two. Expense APPROVED.

Call me basic, I get a little extra joy from watching TV at night with a candle burning in the background. (Any candle will do, the maple one is just special.) We're all looking for whatever gives us even an iota more happiness and levity while we're Locked Down. So, I'm sharing a little something that works for me, in case it helps boost someone else's spirits too :)

Just remember to blow out your candles before you doze off.

Posting a second photo, mostly for the nephew cameo ;)

Can't figure out the official manufacturer. I buy mine through Amazon (that company is exceptionally rotten these days) but a half-dozen other retailers also carry them, super easy to google.
